Further Instructions on how to Search For Restaurants
You will have the ability to Search For A Restaurant on every page of the web site by using the Search Tools in the top right column. You will be able to search by one or all of the criteria listed. These criterion are described in detail below:
- Keyword: If you know you are looking for a specific keyword or key phrase, you can search using this criterion. An example would be pizza or California Pizza Kitchen.
- Restaurant Type: All the different restaurant types will be listed here. If you know you are interested in Italian Food, you will select Italian from this drop down menu.
- Food Type: The main food types will be listed here. If you know you are interested in seafood, you will find this selection in this drop down box.
- Town: This drop down box will contain all the towns within Howard County in which there is a participating restaurant.
- Zip Code: If there is a specific zip code that you want to search within, you would enter that zip code in this field
- Proximity: This feature must be used in conjunction with the Zip Code Field above it. When a zip code is entered and a Proximity selected (example: 5-10 miles), you will see all restaurants within a 5-10 mile radius of the zip code entered.
